Hi...my name is Jan, I live in Texas with my husband (David),who is a truck driver, we just celebrated our 17th anniversay in May and we have 3 children...Brandi (14), Bryan (11) and Brandon (9)!! We also have a dog name Joker who thinks he is one of the kids and a rabbit name Snubs that is not enjoying the bunny life too well right now, he is almost 4 yrs. old and has never seen another bunny. (No multiplying in his cage.) ;) |

When God created the First Trucker's Wife He paused for a moment to consider her life. She'd have to be strong, with an independent air, To manage the home when her husband's not there. She'd have to be brave and not full of fright, To sleep by herself on those cold, stormy nights. She'd raise up her children with a firm hand, While her husband's out driving all over the land. Her love must be deeper than the road is long, To stay true to her husband, keep the marriage strong. She'd have to be special, more than most wives, For trucker's work hard, and live hard lives.
